She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bowers and Lola Frazier Bowers; her husband Carlis Roosevelt Johnson; and her brother Mitchell Lee Bowers. She is survived by: her children, Katherine Stevenson (Roger) of Thomasville and Terry Johnson (Clarice) of Greensboro; her grandchildren, Aaron Johnson and Rachel Davis (Neiman); and her brother John A. Bowers (Lavon).
