He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Roberts and Irene Palmer Roberts; his daughter Leecia Lax; his sisters, Dot Hensley and Doris Huff; his son-in-law Steve Lax; and his brothers-in-law, Carroll Hensley and Garey Huff.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Moore of Archdale; his children, Cindy Clodfelter (Mark) of Archdale and Lloyd Roberts II (Tammy) of Denton; his grandchildren, Brittany Lax, Zach Lax, Austin Roberts, Lauren Roberts and Brian Clodfelter (Nicole); his stepgrandchildren, Joshua Misenheimer (Jessica), Samantha Whitt (Danny) and Dayna Scott (Brian); and his great grandchildren, Jacie, Braylee, Carson and Byron.
