It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Elliott (Archdale, North Carolina), born in Alamance, North Carolina, who passed away on December 29, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Elliott and Edith Boley Elliott. He is survived by: his wife Doris Johnson Elliott; his children, Rodney Elliott of Haw River, Pamela Akins (Charlie Overman) of Reidsville, Gina Shields (Tim) of Elon and Mark A. Elliott of Archdale; his grandchildren, Brandon Randleman (Ellen), Lisa Parham (Alex), Ryan Shelton, Scott Shields (Aiyana), Brittany Shelton (Chip) and Katie Shields; and his siblings, Linda Pickard of Eli Whitney, NC, Barbara Ann Wilson (Billy) of Boone, Emma Jean Elliott of Asheboro and Ronnie Elliott (Gloria) of Fairmont, NC.. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
