He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Kearns and Lena Franklin Kearns; and his brother Bobby Kearns. He is survived by: his wife Jewel Blackburn Kearns; and his daughters, Julie Hughes (Mike), Amy Riddle, Monta Bolling, Kim Kearns and Pam Parrish. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
