He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark C. Pelletier and Cora Braxton Pelletier; his stepson Donald Hardin, Sr.; and his siblings, Charles Pelletier, Mark Pelletier, Louise Huskey and Gwyn Wade.
He is survived by: his wife Alma Frankie Parrish Pelletier of Winston-Salem; his daughters, Elizabeth P. Clark of Greenville and Muriel P. Campbell of Archdale; his stepsons, C. E. Hardin (Myrt) of Sophia, Robert Hardin (Cindy) of Wallburg and Randy Hardin (Amanda) of Thomasville; and his sister Valarie Burmahl (Paul) of Durham. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
