He was predeceased by: his parents, Worley Bishop and Marty Jordan Bishop; and his siblings, Tommy Lynn Bishop, Ishmael Bishop and Evbene Bishop.

He is survived by: his sons, Kenny Bishop (Maranda) of High Point and Eddie Ray Bishop, Jr.; and his siblings, Joann Bishop Carver (Harold), Jimmy Bishop and Kenneth Bishop (Linda).
