He was predeceased by: his parents, George Leonard and Cora Mae Dennis Dunlap; his brother Junior Dunlap; and his nephew Leon Dunlap. He is survived by: his wife Carol Martin Dunlap; his daughter Marnie Dunlap-Fidishun of Winston-Salem; his grandsons, David Fidishun of Greensboro and Grayson Fidishun of Greensboro; his brother Michael Dunlap (Pam) of Irmo; his sisters-in-law, Shelby, Linda (David) and Alice (George); and his nieces and nephews, Jason, Travis, Casey, Joey, Laney, Melissa, Kelsey and Rachel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675.
