It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Erline Gilley Cranford of Archdale, North Carolina, who passed away on November 18, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sallie Ann Adams and Matt Inman; her former husband Oliver Ray Gilley; her husband Red Cranford; and her daughters, Sandra Rae Gilley and Phyllis Elaine Yarborough.
She is survived by: her children, Joy Ann Shinholser (Terry) of Wilmington and David Timothy Gilley (Joy) of Archdale; her grandchildren, Phillip Shinholser (Robin), Chris Frazier, Jennifer Young, Jeremy Gilley (Amanda) and Jacob Gilley; her great grandchildren, Sarah Mann, Taylor Frazier, Mackenzie and Samuel Gilley; and her great great grandchild Stella Rose Mann.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Albion Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery (131 Big Sky Trail, Mt. Airy, NC 27030).
