It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elizabeth Elkes of Archdale, North Carolina, born in High Point, North Carolina, who passed away on July 23, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Odell Draughn and Lois Coltrane Draughn; her husband Jacky Joseph Elkes, Sr.; and her brother Donald Draughn. She is survived by: her children, Jack Elkes, Jr. (Donna) of Archdale, Keith Wayne Elkes (Andrea) of Archdale and Pamela Elkes Landrum (Larkin) of Sophia; her grandchildren, Tommy Christian, Jr., Justin Christian, Elizabeth Elkes Gauthier (Matthew), L. J. Elkes, Kaitlyn Elkes Staley (Caleb) and Hannah Grace Elkes; and her sister-in-law Betty Draughn of Concord. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
