She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee and Martha Jane Beck Cruthis; and her siblings, Dorcas Hawkins, Bobby Cruthis and Daniel Cruthis.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Newton Kennedy (Shane) of Newton, Tony "Rocky" Newton (Lisa) of Carolina Shores and Michael "Mike" Newton of Silver Valley; her grandchildren, Devin Kennedy, Skylar Kennedy, Kendra Trogdon, Shainna Kennedy and Roxie Newton; and her siblings, Francine Gahagan (George), Renee Vestal, Laymon Cruthis (Shelly) and Benny Cruthis. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
