He is survived by: his sons, Coy Edward, Eddie and Bowman, Jr.; his wife Elizabeth of Asheboro; his daughters, Brenda Gerringer of Archdale and Barbara Lingo (Allen) of Illinois; his half-brother Johnny Noah of King; his grandchildren, Justin Bowman, Emily Bowman and Katie Bowman; and also, Wayne Bowman of Seagrove and David Bowman (Vennessa) of Winston-Salem.
