He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles W. Briles and Mary Brown Briles; and his wife Peggy Smith Briles. He is survived by: his sons, Dr. Charles Briles, III (Aleta Briles) of Arizona and Rev. Mickey Briles (Deana) of Archdale; his siblings, Darrell Briles (Lovetta) of Sophia and Eva Jay Farlow of Florida; and his grandchildren, Colton Briles and Caroline Briles.
