She was predeceased by: her husband Monroe Ward; and her children, Michael Ward and Janice Smith. She is survived by: her daughter Deborah Ward Booze of Thomasville, NC; her daughter-in-law Kim Ward of High Point, NC; her grandchildren, Brittany Mills, Briana Collett, Taylor Booze, Devinne Crawford, Peyton Smith and Marley Smith; and her great grandchildren, Grayson Mills, Kenzie Mills, Baylyn Collett, Bailey Collett and Sutton Booze.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service (206 Trindale Rd, Archdale, NC 27263).
