She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Garland Hewett, Sr. and Frances Marie Boswell Norris; and her daughter Jessie Hewett. She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Johnson and Abby Santiago; her grandchildren, Anthony Byrd, Christy Apostolopoulos, Johnny Byrd, Manuel Santiago, Ashley Baldwin and Laci Hewett; her siblings, Lounette Bridgeman, Curley Hewett and Dewey Hewett, Jr.; and her pet Sparkle. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
