She was predeceased by: her parent John Henry; her husband William Theodore Loflin; her son John William Loflin; and her siblings, Irene Ballard, Frances McKinnis, Nancy Matheson, Coyt Hewitt, Ray Hewitt, Joseph Hewitt and Grover Hewitt.
She is survived by: her parent Sarah Essie Witherspoon Hewitt; her daughter Bonnie Powell (Herman); her daughter-in-law Beth Loflin; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Highfill (Laura), Amie Davis, Sonja McPhail (Neil) and Jason Powell (Gail); and her brother Carlton D. "Boose" Hewitt (Janet).
