He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Russell and Thelma Mae Johnson Holyfield; his son Michael Holyfield; and his sisters, Mary Rachel Pardon and Patricia Lynn Kingsbury.
He is survived by: his daughter Ginger; his son-in-law Eddie Bullins; and his brother Danny Ray Holyfield. He is also survived by five grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
