He was predeceased by: his fathers, Carl Spencer and Percy Lawrence Marshall. He is survived by: his children, Janet Lynn Marshall of New Bern and William S. "Bill" Marshall, Sr.; his daughter-in-law Dana Marshall of Mount Airy; his grandson Harry Logan Marshall of Aiken, SC; his stepchildren, Jack Donald Inman, Jr. of Ararat, VA, Tammy Inman of Ararat, VA, Elesia of Ararat, VA, Danny King of Ararat, VA, Tena, Russell Bruner of Ararat, NC, Patricia Inman of North Wilkesboro, Samantha and Michael Vaughn of Jacksonville; and his sister Mildred Marshall Barbee of Hickory. He is also survived by twelve stepgrandchildren.
