In loving memory of Mavis Powell Williams of Arapahoe, North Carolina, who departed this world on December 19, 2024 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Powell and Eva Powell; her brother Andrew "Jack" Fleming; her husband John "Jack" Williams; and her brother-in-law Bruce Midyette.

She is survived by: her daughters, Gail Faust (Paul) and Sherre Midyette (Jerry); her grandchildren, James Shaffer (Amanda), Bryan Midyette (Candy), Dakota Smith (Andy) and Madison Carmen (Justin); her great grandchildren, Ethan, Allison, Kallie, Aria, Jackson, Sloane and Norah; her siblings, Charles Powell (Maureen), Polly Surprenant (Roger) and Cindy Midyette; and her sister-in-law Jo Fleming. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
