With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Zachary Wood Lyon Jr. of Apex, North Carolina, who passed away on June 25, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his uncle Donald Fish; his cousin Brandon Floyd; and his grandmother Sarah Shepherd Lyon. He is survived by: his parents, Zachary W. Lyon, Sr. and Courtney Chavez; his stepparents, Ric of Apex, NC and Melanie Lyon of Lewisville, NC; his sisters, Crystal Argila (Jaime) of Virginia Beach, VA and Caitlin Chisholm of Durham; his stepsister Stephanie Nadeau (Laurence) of Wilmington, NC; his brothers, Brandon Chisholm (Ember) of Raleigh, Jared Chisholm (Caitlin) of El Paso, TX and Brody Lyon of Apex; his grandparents, Ted "Gramps", Rena "Grandma" Stevenson of Raleigh and Edwin "Papa" Lyon (Kitty) of Greensboro, NC; his uncle Ed Lyon (Tina) of Sparta, NC; his aunts, Christine Langdon (Todd) of Garner, NC and Carla Fish (Rich) of Philadelphia, PA; his cousins, Nate Lyon, Abbie Lyon of Wake Forest, Tori Langdon, Trace Langdon of Garner, NC and Nikki Luckett (Graham) of Pikeville, NC; and his nieces and nephews, Preston Argila, Andrew Argila, Alex Argila, Jaime Argila of Virginia Beach, VA, Speed Chisholm of El Paso, TX, Gwyneth Argila of Rexburg and Mackenzie Argila (Raleigh Chisholm) of Virginia Beach, VA. He is also survived by many extended family, second cousins, great aunts and great uncles.
