With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Nolan Cooke (Apex, North Carolina), who passed away on May 6, 2023 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Gaston Cooke and Lovie Lassiter Cooke; his brother Roy Martin Cooke; his sister-in-law Mildred Watson Cooke; his sister Frances Cooke Mills; and his brother-in-law Joseph Monroe Mills.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Black Cooke; and his children, Lynn Black Cooke (Linda Howerton Cooke), Faye Cooke Moore (James Ronald Moore) and Elizabeth Cooke Sears (John Bruce Sears). He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
