It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley McCabe Burgess (Apex, North Carolina), born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 17, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles Joseph and Gladys Gertrude McCabe (Fox); her husband Rev. E. Clayton; her daughters, Rebecca Brigham (Douglas) of Cary, NC and Joanna Burgess-Stocks (Ross) of Apex, NC; and her grandchildren, Meghan, Jack Brigham and Anna Rose Brigham.
