It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shelby Jean Spencer (Apex, North Carolina), who passed away on July 6, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Jackson (Red) and Suzie Jackson of Thebes; her husband Charles Spencer (Jerry); her son Charles Jason II; her siblings, Marion Dean Jackson, Floyd Jackson, Terry Jackson, Martha Farmer and Janet Hewerdine; and her son-in-law Tommy Whiteside.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sherry Hileman (Greg) and Tammy Whiteside (Tommy); her grandchildren, Apryl Slade (Joe), Allie Hileman (Nichole), Abby Hileman, Ashley Burdge (Derek) and Brad Gaal (Nicole); her great grandchildren, Annalisa Tritt, Spencer Tritt, Rylen Slade and Preston Balock; and her siblings, Dearl Jackson (Nancy), Carolyn McIntyre and Linda Lee. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
