She was predeceased by: her parents, Wriston Lee Griffin and Florence Elizabeth Broom Griffin; and her husband Vernon Talmadge Wallace. She is survived by: her children, Tamara "Tammy" Wallace Deaton of Indian Land, SC and Gregory "Greg" Neal Wallace of Cokesbury, NC; her sister Mildred Marze (Don); her grandchildren, Kelly Deaton, Madeline Wallace, Rachel Wallace and Allison Wallace; and her great grandchildren, Brycen Deaton and Avri Deaton.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made to Transitions Lifecare Hospice, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
