He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Martin and Stella Martin (Steele); his wife Joan; his granddaughter Jeana Sue Sutton; and his brother Kedric Martin.
He is survived by: his daughters, Vicki Straw (Scott) of Mt, Martina Sutton (Ronnie) of Cadiz, KY and Christy Hart (Dean) of Flower Mound, TX; and his siblings, Steven E. Martin (Bobbie) of Apex, NC, Darrell L. Martin (Debbie) of Southlake, TX and Deanna Brown (Norman) of Newburgh, IN.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials are suggested to St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital.
