She was predeceased by: her parents, Eardith Godwin and Cora Parker Godwin; her husband Remer Williams; her son Michael Williams; her sister Phyllis Watson; and her brother-in-law Billy Watson.
She is survived by: her siblings, Marietha Peacock (Harold) of Newport News, VA, Janie Peedin (Roy) of Cary, Pamela Parker (JW) of Mount Olive and Eric Godwin (Susan) of Selma; and her stepsons, Michael Higgins of Smithfield and Patrick Higgins (Pam) of Benson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Bethany Missionary Baptist Church at 8980 Old Beulah Road, Kenly, NC 27542.
