She is survived by: her brother James W. Austin (Joy); her sister-in-law Virginia P. Howell; her son-in-law Ron York; her children, Sandra H. Hitchcock (Tim), Marsha H. Massey (Tommy) and S. Hudson Howell (Diana); her grandchildren, Suzanne Wingard (Tripp), Ryan York, Leslie Hitchcock-Stone (Toby), Benjamin Hitchcock, Michael Hitchcock (Sophia), Meredith Koenig (Greg) and Andrew Howell (Suzanna); and her great grandchildren, Zoe Wingard, Olivia Hitchcock and Jude Stone. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to National Parkinson Foundation, Alzheimer's Association or Salem Baptist Building Fund.
