He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hubert Sr. and Eunice Yates; his son Stanley Yates; his former wife Joyce Yates; and his siblings, Catherine Oakley, Henry Hubert Yates, Jr., Wilbert Yates, William Yates and Clyde Yates.
He is survived by: his wife Donnie Raines Yates; his daughter Suzan Johnson (Ronnie); his siblings, David Yates and Doris Ennis; his stepchildren, Judy McLamb (Bruce) and Dennis Penny; his grandchildren, Kyle Johnson, Travis Johnson, Matthew Yates and Rachel Yates; his great grandchildren, Keagan Johnson, Kade Johnson, Chloe Johnson, Everett Howard and Violet Howard; and his daughter-in-law Brenda Yates.
