Neil D. Vincelette Obituary

Neil D. Vincelette, 83, passed away on June 27, 2018. Neil was born in New York to the late Charles Vincelette and Frances C. Vincelette on March 9, 1935.

Neil is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Shirley Jean Vincelette, daughter, Cynthia Becvar (Greg), sons; Kevin Vincelette and Daniel Vincelette, brothers; William Vincelette (Sandra) and Charles Vincelette (Renette), grandchildren; Kevin Vincelette, Christian Vincelette, Casey Vincelette, Lauren Becvar, Lindsey Vincelette, Andrew Becvar, and Jack Vincelette, several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to Bob and Marilyn Widecki for always showing a display of true friendship. The kindness and care they showed to Neil and his family will not be forgotten.

Neil taught at Carl Place High School in Nassau County, New York for over 40 years and a college professor for 20 years. He was a tennis coach for both students and interacted with many community sporting activities. Neil and Shirley enjoyed traveling with friends, his community of North Babylon , and will be remembered for his strong faith.

A mass to celebrate his life will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 10 a.m., St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 804 High House Rd., Cary, NC. Military honors will be present.
