She is survived by: her husband Thomas Covington of Holly Springs; her children, Sebastian McClain, Courtney McClain and Brittany McClain of Apex; her grandchildren, Emaiyah Holloman, Kashmir Jones, Kairo Jones and Chance McClain; her brothers, Johnny Johnson (Joyce) of Dallas, TX and Nathan Johnson; her sister-in-law Ramona Reid of Durham; her sister Stephanie Johnson Dennis (Alfred); her nieces and nephews, Eric McBride, Shaun Johnson (Traci) of Raleigh, Elliot Johnson of Dallas, TX, Patrick Donahue of Clayton, Angel Johnson-Brown of Dallas, TX, Tiea McCord of Angier and Jessika Johnson; her uncle Hoover Johnson (Clara Bell) of Dunn; and her aunt Peggy Christine Butts. She is also survived by cousins, great nieces and nephews, family and friends.
The viewing will be Saturday, January 2, 2021 from 10:00 am - 12 Noon at St. Mary's F. W. B. Church, 9305 Holly Springs Road, Apex, with masks required, practicing social distancing, and following the church's guidelines for entrance and capacity. The funeral service will be conducted Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 1:00 pm at St. Mary's F. W. B.
