He was predeceased by: his parents, James Barefoot and Ruby Barefoot; his sister Penny Taylor; and his parents-in-law, Martin and Florence Lane.
He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Lane-Barefoot; his daughter Diane Ernstsson (Stefan); his granddaughter Ava Grace Leblond; his brother Marshall Barefoot (Becky); his siblings-in-law, Denise Kamens, Rich Kamens and Les Kamens (Nikki); his niece Stefani Parker (Don); and his family, Krister, Margareta, Magnus and Cornelia Ernstsson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his memory to the Lewy Body Dementia Association, honoring his legacy and helping to support others impacted by this disease.
