He was predeceased by: his parents, Will Collins and Pauline Collins; and his brothers, James (Jim) and Norman Collins. He is survived by: his wife Renae Collins; his stepsons, Travis Umphlette (Amanda Krick) and Dillon Umphlette (Elizabeth Villalta); his grandchildren, Nathan Krick, Charleston Umphlette and Mikey; his sister Jeanie Musson (Roger Musson); and his sisters-in-law, Miki Collins and Debbie Collins. He is also survived by numerous aunts and uncles, cousins, and nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Gideons International and the JDRF (Type1 Diabetes).
