He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Samuel Hughes; his wife Maureen Hughes of Apex, NC; his sons, Brian Hughes and Matthew Hughes of Apex, NC; his mother Virginia Hughes of Gaithersburg, MD; his brother Thomas Hughes (Lynn) of Derwood, MD; his niece Madeline Hughes of Manchester, NH; his nephew Michael Hughes of Derwood, MD; and his brother James Hughes of Gaithersburg, MD. He was also cherished by many brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews.
