He was predeceased by: his father Alex Belecanech. He is survived by: his grandson Zach; his wife Barbara Belecanech; his children, Michele O'Donnell (Drew) and Eric Belecanech (Jenn); and his grandsons, Kevin, Zachary and Sean.

In lieu of customary remembrances, memorial contributions may be donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
