It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Hance of Apex, North Carolina, born in Harlan, Kentucky, who passed away on October 21, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father John Landon Griffith. She is survived by: her sons, David A. Hance of Raleigh and Douglas Charles Hance (Rebecca) of Birmingham, AL; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Caroline and Daniel (Doyeon).

Memorials may be made to Shepherd's Theological Seminary, of Cary, North Carolina.
