She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob F. Neely and Thelma M. Neely; her brother William Roy Neely; and her sister-in-law Olive Neely. She is survived by: her children, Melissa Pernell (Tommie) of Spout Spring, VA and Jared Cargill (Holly) of Apex, NC.; her grandchildren, Stefanie Hutchins (Stephen), Amanda Burnette (Casey), Samantha Barley-Maloney (Keith), Dustin Parnell, Katelyn McLaurin (Alex) and Chloe Cargill; and her great grandchildren, Abigail, Colton and Gwen.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in her memory be made to The Ride for Kids – Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation (http://www.curethekids.org) a charity very close to her heart and one she volunteered at for many years.
