It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Joyce Shotwell (Apex, North Carolina), born in Roxboro, North Carolina, who passed away on November 26, 2019, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Moore and Estelle Moore; and her granddaughter Jenna Sanders. She is survived by: her husband's children, Elizabeth and Beverly; her husband Jim Shotwell; her daughters, Elizabeth Sanders of Clayton and Beverly Rogers of Apex; her sons-in-law, Todd Sanders and Pat Rogers; and her grandchildren, Emily, Caroline Sanders, Gentry and Patrick Rogers.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Linda's honor may be made to the Hertford County High School Allen-Murray Scholarship or the Meherrin Baptist Youth Mission Fund.
