He is survived by: his wife Donna T. Adkins; his siblings, Edward Adkins (Cheryl) of Baltimore, Douglas Adkins (Annette) of Durham, Philip Adkins (Alicia) of Snow Camp and Susan Barber (Jeff) of High Point; his sister-in-law Susan Ferguson of Siler City; and his stepmother Ann Carr Adkins of Durham. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
