She was predeceased by: her parents, Boyd King and Audre King. She is survived by: her pet Abby; her daughter Shelly Ryder (Benscoter); and her son-in-law Duane Ryder.

In lieu of customary remembrances, memorial contributions may be donated to SAFE Haven for Cats, the animal rescue from which she adopted Abby.
