It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph Johann Zell of Apex, North Carolina, who passed away on May 13, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Phillip Zell; his wife Anne Grace McMeekin Zell; and his siblings, Robert Zell and Carole Sofronov. He is survived by: his children, Karen Rasmussen (Dave), Sharon Baumgarten, Laura Litt (Marc), John Zell (Debbi) and Charles Craig (Alice). He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
