She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Coy Pendergraph and Anna Mae Luther Pendergraph; her husband William Odell Yates; and her siblings, Jimmy Pendergraph, Iris Tysor and Dixie Yates.

She is survived by: her daughters, Joanna Yates and Donna Cornette (Jackie); and her granddaughters, Rachel Conrad, Grace Rubio and Hope Cornette.
