She was predeceased by: her parents, James Mason and Ellen Mason of Apex, NC.; and her sister Kimberly Mason. She is survived by: her husband Don Edwards; and her sisters, Mary Jane Kipp (Scott) and Barbara Brewer (Eddie). She is also survived by 3 nephews, 3 great-nephews and 1 great-niece.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be donated to the American Cancer Society.
