He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eugene Rice and Edna Joyce Rice; his wife Barbara Sides Rice; his children, James Eugene Rice, Jr. (Pamela Haywood Rice), Susan Diane Norton of Leicester, NC and Ronald Joseph Rice (Ronnie) of New Hill, NC; his brother Floyd Rice of Asheboro, NC; his grandchildren, James Robert Rice and Jennifer Page Rice; his niece Nancy Stephens of Cullowhee, NC; and his great grandchildren, Remington, Colton, Rosie and Calleigh.
Attendees are asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
