With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ida Fell Vanderlip (Apex, North Carolina), born in Ridgeland, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 29, 2024 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie F. Fell and Mary Ida Garbade Fell; her husband Charlie Vanderlip; and her daughter Gail Townsend. She is survived by: her children, Brad Vanderlip (Sharon) and Wanda Abbott (Andy); her son-in-law Jim Townsend; and her grandchildren, Laura Feather, Amy DeLoach, Tommy Abbott, Leslie Desmond, Lisa Parnell and Michele Vanderlip. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
