It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Richard Mills (Apex, North Carolina), who passed away on August 5, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Mills and Lettie Mills; his wife Willie Mae Dupree Mills; and his siblings, Ollie T. Mills, Jr., James H. Mills Sr., Author Mills, Charles Mills and Mae Mills Harding.

He is survived by: his children, Paula Henderson and Steve Mills (Nancy). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
