She is survived by: her children, John Lee Atkins II (Joyce), Joan Atkins and Steve Atkins (Nell); her grandchildren, Tim Baker (Angel), Carl Lee (Anna), Tonya Gray (Jason), Steven Atkins (Niki), John Lee Atkins III (Darby) and Morgan Wilder (Brandon); and her brother Mike Ennis. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
