She was predeceased by: her parents, Laski Brooks and Mary Brooks; and her sister Ida Ruth Davis. She is survived by: her husband Maurice Mathis; her children, Teresa Ellis (Norm), Timothy, Matthew and Peter; her great grandchildren, Harriett Mathis and Lynn Eskridge; and also, Tyler, Cody Riley, Kailyn and Kari.
