It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Joseph Whitmore Jr. (Apex, North Carolina), born in Morristown, New Jersey, who passed away on February 7, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Joseph Whitmore, Sr. and Elizabeth Bearlapp Whitmore; his wife Shirley Ann Whitmore; and his siblings, Joseph, John, Helen, Louise and Elizabeth.
He is survived by: his daughters, Diana Di Lillo (John) and Donna Weiss (Kenneth); his grandchildren, Jason Di Lillo, Matthew Di Lillo (Donna) and Kimberly Vanderhoef (Lee); his great grandchildren, Anthony, Annabella, Adriana, Olivia and Giuliana; and his sisters, Caroline Banghart and Mary Shiels. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
