Gary Holly Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Holly of Apex, North Carolina, born in Waukon, Iowa, who passed away on April 20, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Robert Holly and Eva Eastman Holly; and his siblings, Norma Jean Holly and Clifford Allen Holly. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Cartwright Holly; his daughters, Constance Holly Parks (Mike Parks) of Sylva, NC and Christa Eva Holly Barnett (John Barnett) of Delaware, OH; his stepson David Sharber (Sally Sharber); his sister Bonnie Holly of Cedar Rapids, IA.; his grandchildren, Taylor Parks, Craig Barnett, Carter Barnett, Jacob Barnett and Caleb Barnett; and his great grandchild Autumn Barnett.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Apex United Methodist Church (100 S Hughes St, Apex, NC 27502).
