Evelyn Gore Gilfillan Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Gore Gilfillan (Apex, North Carolina), who passed away on October 19, 2019, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Pinckney Gore and Myrtle Ellen Bryan Gore; and her brothers, Palmer Gore of Loris and Jack Gore of Cary. She is survived by: her husband Carlton Sr.; her cousin Bonnie Holt; her sons, Carlton Gilfillan, Jr. (Louise Taylor Gilfillan), Wade Gilfillan and Marc Gilfillan (Becky Madren Gilfillan); and her grandchildren, Bryan Gilfillan (Deborah Staley Gilfillan), Sarah Gilfillan Parunak (Matthew Parunak), Robert Gilfillan, Carla Gilfillan and Taylor Gilfillan. She is also survived by adopted by her parents and raised as their daughter.
