She was predeceased by: her husband W. Nolan Cooke; her parents, Stuart Wallace Black and Beulah Anderson Black; and her brothers, Stuart Wallace Black, Jr. and Kenneth Austin Black.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn Black Cooke (Linda Howerton Cooke), Faye Cooke Moore (James Ronald Moore) and Elizabeth Cooke Sears (John Bruce Sears). She is also survived by 4 grand children and 15 great grandchildren.
